Q: What are alphanumeric numbers?
A:

Alphanumeric numbers are phone numbers that correspond to the letters that are printed on the keypad of most telephone handsets.

We can offer both geographic numbers (standard UK landline numbers) or non geographic numbers (freephone, local rate, national rate, etc.)

For example 01434 ANIMAL (264625) or 0845 TOP CARS

Q: How does it work?
A: We will allocate the memorable number to you and set it up to forward to your existing landline number; you don't need to change your telephone provider or phone.
You can now start giving out your memorable number to your customers.
Q: Can we get our memorable number listed with Directory Enquiries?
A: Yes.  If you'd like your number to be listed with Directory Enquiries service, please email us and we'll submit it for you.
Q: Do you offer memorable numbers in other countries?
A: Yes.  At the moment we can offer memorable numbers in Ireland.  Please email us at support@rememberthatnumber.co.uk for more information.
Q: How much will it cost?
A: Please see our charges section for full details.
Q: How do I pay?
A: We will set you up a pre-pay account so you simply credit your Remember That Number account (by using your credit or debit card) with a chosen amount and then all your calls that are forwarded are deducted from this balance.
If you wanted to add more credit than the automatic system will allow that's no problem; please just contact our Customer Service department and they'll be able to help.
You can get your balance or a call record at any time, so it's easy to keep an eye on your account.
Q: Is it possible for you to invoice my company for our phone calls rather than having to prepay?
A: No. Remember That Number is purely a prepaid product, which enables us to keep costs down and to be able to offer such excellent rates and service!
Q: I made a mistake when entering my credit card details and now it won't let me credit my account, even though I know I entered them correctly this time.  What do I do?
A: Please contact Customer Service at support@rememberthatnumber.co.uk and we will help!  Please include your phone number in your email.
Q: Can I change the landline that my memorable number is being forwarded to?
A: Please e-mail us at support@rememberthatnumber.co.uk with your memorable number (please include the PIN you were given when it was allocated) and both the old and new number you'd like it routed to.. We will then transfer your memorable number across to your number.  If you have moved, please let us have your new address too.
Q: Can I forward my memorable number to my mobile or an international phone?
A: Yes you can – please email us at support@rememberthatnumber.co.uk with details of which country, or which mobile operator you would like to forward the calls to, and we'll contact you with the price you will be charged to forward the calls.
Q: Will my credit balance expire if I don't use my account for a while?
A: Yes.  It will expire one calendar year after the last charged call or top up (whichever was the latest) and your credit balance will be set to zero.  To avoid this happening, if you know you're not going to use your account for a long time please apply to us for a refund or to have your account put on hold.
Please note that refunds are subject to a 5% admin fee and we do not refund less than £5.00
